DESIGN CONCEPT
In this whole home remodeling project, we focused on completely updating and transforming the entire home to create a more modern and functional space. The kitchen was redesigned to improve the flow and functionality, with the appliances being repositioned and the layout adjusted. The outdated tile floor was replaced with a new flooring that matched the rest of the house. Similarly, the bathroom was given a cosmetic update while maintaining its original layout. Additionally, we refreshed the rest of the home by sanding and re-staining the existing wood floors to remove the dated yellow and red tones and give it a new, fresh look.
ORIGINAL KITCHEN FLOOR PLAN
The outdated Tuscan vibe of the original kitchen needed a modern update. The butler’s pantry and food pantry were not being fully utilized, so we reimagined their purpose. Additionally, the small island needed to be replaced to better accommodate the family’s needs.
NEW KITCHEN FLOOR PLAN
We made several changes to the kitchen space. While keeping the original layout, we removed the tile flooring and replaced it with wood flooring to create a cohesive look throughout the home. We combined the butler’s and food pantries into one, larger space, and updated it with a beautiful custom tile pattern. We also replaced the original kitchen island with a larger island that matches the transitional style of the space. To brighten up the room, the homeowners chose a new color palette and selected gold finished hardware. Finally, we moved the double ovens to a new location across from the butler’s pantry entrance, and the previous space was transformed into a coffee nook.
ORIGINAL BATHROOM FLOOR PLAN
The bathroom featured a platform tub which the client wanted removed and replaced with something more modern and functional. We kept the existing vanity but updated the rest of the room to give it a contemporary style that is more in line with current trends.
NEW BATHROOM FLOOR PLAN
We transformed the master bathroom by replacing the old platform tub with a stunning new free-standing soaking tub. And, to seamlessly blend the new addition with the existing flooring, our team skillfully patched in matching tiles. Additionally, we revamped the double vanity with custom white oak cabinets, elegant quartzite countertops, and stylish honey bronze hardware.
To bring texture upward into the space, we finished a traditional-style hood over the range with a custom wood band.
In the bathroom, we added custom Inset “Bridgeport” white oak cabinets in a soothing “Driftwood” color.
The countertop around the perimeter of the kitchen is made of beautiful marble in the color “Bianco Rhino” and the backsplash behind the range is made of quartzite in the color “Namibian White.”

TYING IT ALL TOGETHER
To update the overall look and feel of the house, we sanded and stained the flooring, eliminating the outdated yellow and red tones. Furthermore, we replaced the carpet on the stairs and catwalk, giving them a fresh and modern appearance. To complete the transformation, we installed new railings, newel posts, and balusters on the staircase, enhancing its overall aesthetic.
CABINETS
The kitchen’s perimeter and island cabinetry were custom-made in the Inset “Bridgeport” style, in a beautiful “Glacier” color. The butler’s pantry cabinetry matches the style of the kitchen but adds a touch of contrast with the “Gale Force” color. Both sets of cabinets feature the same hardware for a cohesive look. In the bathroom, we added custom Inset “Bridgeport” white oak cabinets in a soothing “Driftwood” color.
TILE AND STONE
The countertop around the perimeter of the kitchen is made of beautiful marble in the color “Bianco Rhino” from Stonetech Fabrication. The island, on the other hand, features a contrasting Silestone soapstone countertop in the color “Charcoal Suede” from Stonetech. This same countertop is also used in the butler’s pantry. The backsplash behind the range is made of quartzite in the color “Namibian White” from Stonetech. The sink and pantry backsplash are made of ceramic white subway tile.
Additionally, the butler’s pantry showcases a classic black and white penny tile from Dal Tile, which is laid out in a custom pattern.
In the master bathroom and powder room, we used “Namibian White” quartzite from the kitchen being for the countertops.

This not only gave the home a warmer look, but also eliminated the previous, outdated yellow and red tones. In the kitchen, the tile flooring was replaced with a new wood floor laid in a herringbone pattern, adding visual interest and texture. We finished cabinetry with hardware from Atlas and Top Knobs in honey bronze and warm brass shades, creating a cohesive and luxurious look.

The completed home remodel delivers a more intentional and balanced living experience throughout the house. Adjustments to the layout improved flow and connectivity between key spaces, making daily routines feel more natural and effortless. Material and finish selections were coordinated to create a cohesive palette that feels warm and refined while performing well for everyday life. Thoughtful lighting and fixture choices enhance both task work and overall comfort, helping each room feel bright and inviting from morning into evening. Built-in storage and surface decisions were selected to support organization and ease of use across the home. The result is a residence that feels refreshed, purposeful, and aligned with how the homeowners live today while adding lasting design quality for years to come.
